The Association of Construction Project Managers Malaysia (ACPM) was invited by CIDB Holdings to participate in the Bengkel Pembangunan Soalan Review and Refine CCPM, held from 17 to 19 September 2026 at ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre.
The three-day workshop focused on the review, reassessment and refinement of assessment questions for the Certified Construction Project Manager (CCPM) Level 6 programme, helping to ensure that the assessment framework remains relevant, rigorous and aligned with the competencies required of construction project management professionals.
ACPM’s involvement in the exercise reflects the Association’s continuing role in supporting the development of professional standards within Malaysia’s construction industry. By contributing industry perspectives and professional experience to initiatives such as this, ACPM helps strengthen the connection between professional competency requirements, industry practice and the assessment of future construction project managers.
The CCPM certification represents an important pathway for recognising the competency of individuals undertaking construction project management responsibilities. Maintaining the quality and relevance of its assessment questions is therefore essential in ensuring that certified professionals are evaluated against the knowledge, judgement and practical competencies expected by the industry.
For ACPM, professional development extends beyond organising training programmes and industry events. The Association seeks to contribute to the wider ecosystem that develops construction professionals — including competency standards, professional education, assessment frameworks, knowledge sharing and collaboration with key industry institutions.
