The Association of Construction Project Managers Malaysia (ACPM) paid a courtesy visit to YBhg. Datu Dr Cassidy anak Morris, Director of Public Works Sarawak, on 3 July 2026 as part of ACPM’s professional engagement programme in Sarawak.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen professional ties between ACPM and JKR Sarawak, while exchanging perspectives on construction project management, infrastructure development and the unique project delivery environment in Sarawak.

Strengthening Professional Collaboration
The engagement opened discussions on opportunities for greater professional collaboration and knowledge sharing, particularly in the areas of project management, infrastructure development and coordination among multiple project stakeholders.
ACPM was also keen to gain insights from JKR Sarawak’s experience in managing and delivering development projects across the state, recognising the distinctive challenges, approaches and strengths of project implementation in Sarawak.
Growing the ACPM Community in Sarawak
Beyond institutional engagement, the visit also reflected ACPM’s aspiration to further strengthen and grow its professional community in Sarawak.
ACPM hopes that with the encouragement and industry leadership of Datu Dr Cassidy, together with the support of local members and industry professionals, the ACPM community in Kuching and throughout Sarawak will continue to grow, become more active and create greater professional engagement within the state.
This includes more opportunities for professional talks, technical visits, knowledge-sharing activities and stronger connections among construction project management professionals in Sarawak.
