4 July 2026 | Kuching, Sarawak
The Association of Construction Project Managers Malaysia (ACPM) continued its Sarawak engagement programme with a Meet & Greet and Technical Talk with ACPM members and construction industry professionals in Sarawak on Saturday, 4 July 2026.
The morning brought together ACPM Council Members and members in Sarawak for professional knowledge sharing, open discussion and networking — providing an opportunity to strengthen connections within the ACPM community while exchanging insights on current developments in construction project management.
ACPM was also pleased to welcome YBhg. Datu Dr Cassidy anak Morris, Director of Public Works Sarawak, whose presence and support added further significance to the gathering as ACPM continues to strengthen and grow its professional community in Sarawak.

The programme began with a welcoming address and introduction of ACPM Council Members, giving members an opportunity to get to know the leadership team and engage directly with the Association.
More than a formal gathering, the session created a platform for members to exchange views, share experiences and discuss how ACPM can continue to support professional development and greater member participation in Sarawak.
Three Technical Talks, One Morning of Knowledge Sharing
The programme featured three technical talks covering areas relevant to today’s construction project management profession:
Tech Talk 1 – Digital Tools for Construction Project Management
The session explored the growing role of digital tools in supporting construction project management and the industry’s continuing move towards more technology-enabled project delivery.
Tech Talk 2 – CDM Regulations in Construction Projects
The second session focused on the roles and challenges faced by Project Managers in implementing CDM Regulations, including their important coordinating role in supporting compliance across the various project stakeholders.
Tech Talk 3 – Contractors Quality Management System (CQMS)
The final technical session introduced the Contractors Quality Management System (CQMS) based on CIS 29:2021, covering quality management requirements across tendering, construction planning, procurement, construction works and post-construction activities.
An Interactive Exchange
The technical talks were followed by a Q&A session, allowing members to engage with the speakers, raise questions and exchange practical perspectives from their own industry experience.
The morning concluded with a group photo session and lunch, providing a more relaxed setting for members and Council Members to continue conversations and build professional connections.

Growing ACPM in Sarawak
The encouraging participation and interaction throughout the morning reflected the potential for an increasingly active ACPM community in Sarawak.
Through more technical programmes, professional networking and industry engagement, ACPM hopes to create further opportunities for its Sarawak members to connect, contribute, share knowledge and grow together.
ACPM extends its appreciation to all members and industry colleagues who joined the gathering and contributed to making the session both meaningful and enjoyable.
We look forward to seeing the ACPM Sarawak community continue to grow and play an increasingly active role in advancing the construction project management profession.
