From Knowledge to Application
ACPM’s First Sustainability & Digitalisation Training for Project Managers
The construction industry is entering a phase where sustainability is no longer optional—it is measurable, auditable, and increasingly tied to project approval, compliance, and reputation.
To support project managers navigating this shift, the Association of Construction Project Managers Malaysia (ACPM) is proud to introduce its first training programme organised by the ACPM Training Committee—designed to move beyond theory and into real-world application.
Why This Training Matters
Many sustainability programmes stop at awareness. This training is different.
It is purpose-built for construction project managers, focusing on:
Understanding what sustainability requirements mean in practice
Learning how to capture, manage, and reuse data efficiently
Applying sustainability frameworks without adding administrative burden
Training Structure: Learn → Apply → Continue Using
🔹 Part 1: Sustainability Knowledge & Requirements
Participants will gain clear, practical insights into sustainability requirements relevant to construction projects, including how these requirements translate into day-to-day project management decisions.
This session establishes a common language and understanding, ensuring participants know what is required and why it matters.
🔹 Part 2: Live Application on a Digital Platform
The second half of the training shifts into hands-on application.
Participants will apply what they’ve learned using a dedicated digital platform, designed to support and streamline:
GBI
MyCREST
INFRASTAR
ISO-related sustainability and data requirements
The platform helps:
Eliminate duplicate data entry
Reduce double handling of information
Save time across reporting and certification processes
What Participants Take Away
By the end of the training, participants will leave with:
Practical sustainability knowledge tailored to construction projects
Hands-on experience using a structured digital system
Temporary access to the platform, allowing continued use on a real project after the training
This ensures the learning does not stop when the session ends—it continues on-site, where it matters most.
Who Should Attend
Construction Project Managers
Professionals involved in sustainability reporting or certification
Teams preparing for GBI, MyCREST, INFRASTAR, or ISO-related initiatives
